Another symbian Hack

Symbian hack by Norton Security. By CODeRUS.

By installing this hack you will no longer need to sign applications to install software's in your phone. Thus eliminating the need to get certificates. also you will get full access to your phone folders.

How to hack?
1. install NortonSymbianHackLDD.sis
2. Launch
3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list
4. Go Options - Restore All, accept prompt
5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
6. Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx from hack archive
7. Launch and apply patches:
- Open4all for full access to file system
- Installserver for installing any unsigned applications ( if red cross - get installserver.exe here OR here )
Set patches to auto if needed (Options - Add to auto)

This software allows you to modify the User Agent of the browser in S60v3 and S60v5. The user agent platform indicates the platform from which we are surfing - if we are on Windows, Mac, Symbian, iPhone and so on.
Many sites now have a mobile version, but some of them do not allow us to achieve the full version and we are forced to stay in the "light version" of the site! With this program we can change the UserAgent of our integrated browser and then, point out that our phone is not a Symbian OS, thus enabling us to see the full web version of the site.

Installation Instructions

1) Downlad required files from HERE.

2) Now extract the files and sign all the three sis files using extsis.exe as shown in previous posts

3) Note all the files must be installed in memory card only.

4) install 2PythonForsModulPack-E signed.sis file first

5) then install iphonesque.sis

6) finally install useragentchanger.sis

7) now open usergent program and select iphone etc

8) Now the default browser user agent will get changed.
 

Change the fonts of opera mobile

Now you can use your favorite font to display web pages in opera mobile. if you need to browse web pages which uses your regional language font you can do it now also using this tip or trick.

These are the steps:

1) Get the font file you want to use.

2) Make three copies of the font.

3) Now rename these three font files to DroidSans.ttf, DroidSans-Bold.ttf, and DroidSansMono.ttf

4) Now connect your phone to the computer using mass storage mode.

5) Go to E:/System/Apps/Opera Mobile/fonts folder

6) Copy the three font files you have renamed to this folder. and you are done.

7) If you require to change the font of the opera mobile app system font you have to rename the required font file to DroidSansFallback.ttf and copy it to the following folder E:/System/Apps/Opera Mobile/fonts2 and you are done.

Roadsync Tips And Tricks

With support for 50+ Symbian S60 smartphones shipping all over the world, it can be a fun challenge for RoadSync to work consistently across the board. Although some things may vary slightly per device, here are a few tips and tricks you may want to try:

COMPOSING MESSAGES

Copy & Paste = any of the following:

= Pencil button and scroll
= Ctrl-C & Ctrl-V

When in the TO: field, simply push the D-pad to select a contact stored on the phone. Or select Options -> Global Address List -> search and add contacts from your corporate directory.

If you are sending messages to someone within your own company, simply type in the first part of their e-mail address before the @ and the server will determine the rest.

Access the phone Media using WIFI (DLNA)

Vivaz can share its Media (music , video ,pictures) using WIFI with your computer and other DLNA certified devices.

To share the content open media server application in your phone and start the server. you will have to login to the WIFI network you want to share the files.

Once the phone gets connected Open My Computer.. Got to Your Network Your Device Will be Shown As a Media Device

Then on selecting the device Windows media player (default) will open

Now all your media can be played or viewed from your computer.

Gmail Application ( remove annoying keypad)

When You install gmail app from m.google.com. the app has an annoying keypad at the lower half of the screen.

Now you can remove that keypad by performing the following steps:

1) Go to Settings> Application Manager>Installed app.

2) then select gmail. go to options> suite settings .

3) turn off the on screen keyboard.then you are done..

4)Now we can increase the font size for easier use of touch. open the gmail app. Menu> go to > settings and check the following option: use large fonts.

5) Now restart the app..

Vivaz Secret Menu Codes

Enter these secret menu codes in your phone keypad.

1)   *#06#               = displays your phones IMEI number.

2)   *#0000#           = Displays The Software (firmware) version installed in your phone

3)   *#2820#           = Displays the bluetooth address of your phone

4)   *#62209526#   = Displays the wifi MAC address

5)   *#92702689#   = Displays the total call time of the phone

6)   *#7780#           = Performs a soft reset of the phone. all the phone settings,profiles,themes will be reset.

7)   *#7370#           = Performs a full reset.. all your contacts, notes and other data including the phone settings will be brought back to factory default.

8) Press red, green, red, red, green,red   = Enter to the service menu. here you can test many functions of the phone like display, microphone, flash, speakers etc...
