Another symbian Hack

Symbian hack by Norton Security. By CODeRUS.

By installing this hack you will no longer need to sign applications to install software's in your phone. Thus eliminating the need to get certificates. also you will get full access to your phone folders.

How to hack?
1. install NortonSymbianHackLDD.sis
2. Launch
3. Go Options- Anti-Virus - Quarantine list
4. Go Options - Restore All, accept prompt
5. Exit application, delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also delete c:\shared\ folder.
6. Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx from hack archive
7. Launch and apply patches:
- Open4all for full access to file system
- Installserver for installing any unsigned applications ( if red cross - get installserver.exe here OR here )
Set patches to auto if needed (Options - Add to auto)

Hacked successfuly =)

Installserver Notes :
Install server must be installed for you to install applications without needing to sign.
 For vivaz/satio you need to use the installserver.exe from the installserver934 folder and copy it to
c:\.sys\bin\

    I need to have Nokia OVI Maps on my Vivaz. and i have been following your "Nokia OVI Maps on Vivaz, Satio without hacking the phone." article, and i was interrupted due to unavailability of certificate.

    i accidently deleted c:\sys folder in my vivaz. Now i am unable to install/uninstall any app. Someone please upload c:\sys of your vivaz phone and give a link.
    Please help.... I really need this.

    Can I use this hack to install Nokia Ovi Maps on my phone? Your other method is not working for me because the opda hasn't provided me with a certificate at least not yet. If I can use this hack tell please tell me how to install Ovi Maps.

    I just want to make sure i understand properly. on step 5 you say, "delete from App manager (Symantec Symbian Hack)", do you mean uninstall? Going through menu/settings/application mgr/installed app. choosing options on(Symantec Symbian Hack) and uninstall. Or do you mean using X-plore to delete (Symantec Symbian Hack). Also when you say "delete c:\shared\ folder", obviously I have to use X-plore for this but do you want me to delete the shared folder or the folder in the shared folder witch is "20000BCO_symantec", which there is a folder in that one then 8 files within that. These are probably silly questions and I don't want to waste anyones time but I just want to be thorough and not make any mistakes. My email is kevinthanos@hotmail.com
