Vibra Connect

Program gets vibration on:

• Connection. Phone vibrates during long beeps
• Talk begin. You get short vibration when call has been taken on the other side.
• At 55-th second of conversation. It is useful if you have got per-minute billing of.
• Disconnection. You get double short vibration when you hang up the phone or have been failed to dial.

Installation instructions

1)First Download and extract the Application Vibra Connect (if you already know to sign the app no need to read the rest sign the app and install in your phone)

2) Download and extract sis contents

3)open the file extsis.exe

4)now open the VibraConnect.1.1.4.unsigned.sis file

5) now we have to sign the application

6) Now you require to have the OPDA certificate and key if youu havent got it read my previous post get your s60v5 certificate and key from OPDA

 7)Now save your new signed sis file and install in your phone

Access the phone Media using WIFI (DLNA)

Vivaz can share its Media (music , video ,pictures) using WIFI with your computer and other DLNA certified devices.

To share the content open media server application in your phone and start the server. you will have to login to the WIFI network you want to share the files.

Once the phone gets connected Open My Computer.. Got to Your Network Your Device Will be Shown As a Media Device

Then on selecting the device Windows media player (default) will open

Now all your media can be played or viewed from your computer.

New Firmware (R2CA024) Released

A new firmware for vivaz has been released. This update includes a noticeable performance improvement,updated Google maps, you-tube application and neoreader application.The radio also now supports RDS. I also felt the touch response has been improved a bit.

Still there is no kinetic scrolling and automatic photo flash. Hope they include this in the next update

You can download sony ericssons official equalizer application from playnow directly to your mobile. satio users require latest firmware update.

Just open the application in your phone select your favorite equalizer setting and exit the application. it is not required to keep the application running in the background. This apps work only with satio and vivaz.

Gmail Application ( remove annoying keypad)

When You install gmail app from m.google.com. the app has an annoying keypad at the lower half of the screen.

Now you can remove that keypad by performing the following steps:

1) Go to Settings> Application Manager>Installed app.

2) then select gmail. go to options> suite settings .

3) turn off the on screen keyboard.then you are done..

4)Now we can increase the font size for easier use of touch. open the gmail app. Menu> go to > settings and check the following option: use large fonts.

5) Now restart the app..

Vivaz Secret Menu Codes

Enter these secret menu codes in your phone keypad.

1)   *#06#               = displays your phones IMEI number.

2)   *#0000#           = Displays The Software (firmware) version installed in your phone

3)   *#2820#           = Displays the bluetooth address of your phone

4)   *#62209526#   = Displays the wifi MAC address

5)   *#92702689#   = Displays the total call time of the phone

6)   *#7780#           = Performs a soft reset of the phone. all the phone settings,profiles,themes will be reset.

7)   *#7370#           = Performs a full reset.. all your contacts, notes and other data including the phone settings will be brought back to factory default.

8) Press red, green, red, red, green,red   = Enter to the service menu. here you can test many functions of the phone like display, microphone, flash, speakers etc...

Oxford Dictionary And Thesaurus (symbian s60v5)

This tutorial is how to install oxford dictionary in your s60v5 phone

1) First Download MSDictViewer.rar then extract the sis file and install on your phone

2)Then Download  the English dictionary ConciseOxfordEnglish2.0.rar and install in your phone

3) To install Thesaurus download ConciseOxfordThesaurus2.0.rar and install in your phone

4)download the oxfordkey.rar and open the kegen-1.exe.. sometimes the antivirus blocks this keygen from opening in such cases please disable your antivirus.And try again.

5) Then Select the Application

6)Then Enter Your IMEI Number

7) open msdict app in you phone and enter the unlock code generated. now your dictionary is registered

Nokia OVI Map Files

There Are two methods to install nokia maps.

First Method:
1)  Download the official map loader from nokia.(NokiaMaploaderSetup_ENU.exe) and install.

2) open Ovi Maps installed in your phone and exit the program.

3) connect your phone in mass storage mode.

4) open the map loader and download new maps to your mobile.

5) Now you are done.

Second Method.

1) open Ovi Maps on your phone and exit. a new folder name cities\dishcache\ is made on your phone memory card with folders from 0-9, a-z.

2) download the new maps as given bellow and copy the extracted folders {0-9,A-Z} to the cites\diskcache\  folder.

3)Merge the folders if it is asked.

4) Then The map will get installed.

Nokia OVI Maps on Vivaz, Satio without hacking the phone.

This Guide is Going to explain to you how to install Nokia Ovi Maps on Satio And Vivaz Smartphones without the need to hack the phone..

1) Download and extract  SISContents

2) Then Download and Extract Ovi Maps

3) Then Open the siscontents file extsis.exe the file you downloaded in first step..

4) Open new file...

 5) then select the sis file which you have extracted in step two

6) Now You Delete All The Signatures Present in the sis File

 7) Now Select Sign Package And Follow The Following Steps

8) Now a new window will pop out to sign the sis file. You need to have a certificate and key file first for your phone. if you have not done it please read my previous post of Get You s60v5 certificate and key form OPDA. If you have the certificate and key files please continue.

9) Now After this close this window and save your new hacked sis file.

Copy the new sisx file To Your Phone.install. and enjoy OVI Maps 3. You Can Add maps by using map loader version 3 or by downloading the map files directly to your memory card.

Get Your S60v5 Certificate and Key From OPDA

UPDATE:  Guys Now you can hack your phone so you will not require the certificates anymore.Read my post "another symbian hack" and hack your phone. HERE

For Signing Applications For S60v5 Devices first you have to get a Certificate and Key file
This tutorial will help you to get your Certificate And Key Files.

1. Go to http://cer.opda.cn/en/index.php

2. Click Register3.Enter Your Required username and password and create an account for you in OPDA4. Then Login To Your Account
5. Then Click to Apply For A New Certificate
6. Then Check The status Of your certificate It takes 24 hours for the certificate to be ready.
7.Log in Again And Download Your Certificates and Key
